Chreos 3 launched today

CHRISTCHURCH, NZ - Chreos 3, a modular accounting software package exploiting advanced technologies to enhance business practice, has been launched today

"We believe Chreos 3 will be difficult to match," says Steven Wild, Director of Wild Software. "A big advantage is its ability to be moulded to the way a particular business operates. The software is designed to be customised.

These days accounting software is becoming important to all businesses. Typically, they are buying large systems only to use a small part of it. "And some of those systems, although based on the Windows environment, are not necessarily harnessing the strengths of Windows," he says. "Chreso 3 has been designed specifically to harness the power of Windows."

Among the advantages, is the software's multi-tasking ability. One form does not need to be closed before opening another. Someone processing a goods order, for example, can also answer an enquiry about invoicing, without closing the first form.

Chreos is more than an electronic accounting system. It can also compile useful information to enhance business practice. "A good example is collating point-of-sale data for target marketing. It's a business tool to be used, as much as an accounting system. It can be adapted to whatever a business requires," says Wild.

"If a business wants daily cash report at certain time, or wants stock reports e-mailed overseas, then we can make Chreos 3 do it. The software is extremely user-friendly. Day-to-day accounting is a necessity for any business, but it is not the core activity of most businesses. Therefore, businesses need software that is simple to use, while saving time."

Chreos 3 is an evolution of earlier Chreos accounting software being used successfully in a variety of processional situations.

"We now have the confidence to present ourselves to a wider market with Chreos 3. It is strong on GST-related issues, making highly suitable for markets in Australia, and Canada, as well as New Zealand," says Wild.
